Every day millions of people look things up on Wikipedia, and every film release, final, scandal and anniversary leaves a mark: a spike in the article's daily views. Hypedle turns one of those curves into a puzzle. Can you tell what the world was reading about from the shape of its attention?

Each puzzle is one English Wikipedia article, picked from articles that made Wikipedia's monthly top 1,000 in the last three years. We leave out articles about killings, attacks, disasters and similar tragedies: a spike there is real, but it isn't a game.
